Hayley joined our ranks in the second half of 2014 as our new Assistant GM. Hayley is originally from England and grew up in Surrey near London. While still living in England, Hayley worked in the hospitality industry and in 2004 decided to take a holiday to Africa. She went on Safari and was immediately drawn to the bush. On returning to England she set about changing her life course to make a permanent journey to this beautiful continent. She arrived on African shores in 2009 and immediately set out to study Field Guiding. After a short stint catering for the movie industry, Hayley was employed at another lodge in the Timbavati where she worked for 2 years before joining us here at Kings Camp. During this time he studied marketing and management for 3 years before getting the travel bug to explore the world. Grant spent the next 10 years travelling through the U.S., UK and Europe. On his return to South Africa Grant immediately started his journey to become a professional field guide and has attained his FGASA qualifications. Grant started guiding in the Timbavati in 2009 and has recently joined our ranks as an Assistant GM and senior field guide. Life changing experience
A friend and I just returned from a 4 day stay at Kings Camp. I read so many posts so my expectations were very high and they were exceeded. It truly was amazing from every point of view. The accommodations were beautiful, the staff warm and friendly, the food delicious. It truly is like being part of a family and I didn’t want to leave and looking forward to coming back.
